Buy organic, sustainable imported and local wines, or stay for a drink in their relaxing space. The owners are French wine experts ready to answer any question you can imagine. 8 Minute walk. $$
1600 Folsom St	Manora Thai One of Sumner House's choice picks. Simple and reasonable, but the Thai food is some of the best in San Francisco. Well worth the 12 minute walk from Sumner House. $	121 7th St	Custom Burger Cool hip burger joint to go with the SOMA neighborhood. You can even order a Kobe Beef hamburger with sweet potatoes fries. 5 minute walk. $

Has the standard fare of Indian food at reasonable prices. 5 minute walk. $	1198 Folsom St	Ideal Deli Nice neighborhood cafe. Don't let the simple decor turn you away. The carne asada burrito is really tasty and the service is always friendly and fast from the cafe's owners. 3 minute walk. $
1052 Folsom St	Extreme Pizza New and upcoming pizza franchise in the bay area. The "extreme" combinations are unique and tasty. Go in for a quick slice or have a pizza delivered right to Sumner House. 8 minute walk. $
